Device Management Server (DMS) Overview

Device Management Server (DMS) is a web-based application that provides comprehensive capabilities for managing your environment. Device Management Server (DMS) allows for highly flexible and scalable interactions with a large number of devices for the purposes of configuration and reconfiguration, mass firmware downloads, fault clearance and general real-time support.

Device Management Server (DMS) enables operator to perform various management tasks: create and manage firmware upgrades, launch campaigns, provide and modify services, manage and troubleshoot devices and also monitor environment.

This guide includes the following parts:

Start of work. This part describes the procedures that needed to be performed for commencement of work with Device Management Server.

Support Portal. This part provides information and procedures for managing and upgrading firmware for your devices, configuring basic settings and parameters.

Admin Portal. This part provides information and procedures for unification device configurations, data profiles and policies, support groups of deployed devices, performing campaigns - on-demand mass operations directed to managing and upgrading firmware on a large number of devices.

File Server. This part provides an overview of the segment where you will store your configuration files and firmware.

DMS Swagger GUI (NorthBound APIs). This part provides information about DMS NorthBoundInterface (NBI), general rules of using and details of accessing endpoints .

SQM API. This part provides an overview of Service Quality Management (SQM) API, its capabilities, parameters and examples of usage.
